  2. ELSEWARE version 2.2

  4. This is a beta test release of version 2.2. Final documentation is
  5. not complete for this version.
  6.  
  7. Most of version 2.1 documentation applies. Please note the following
  8. obvious changes in version 2.2...
  9.  
  10. 1. All default parameters for both HOST and REMOTE are kept in a SETUP
  11.    file called EW.SET. You can edit/change parameters with a special
  12.    program called EWSET.EXE. Run EWSET to check defaults and make changes.
  13.  
  14. 2. Start version 2.2 using the new .BAT files. EWHOST.BAT starts the HOST
  15.    program and EWREM.BAT starts the REMOTE program. The command line
  16.    parameters have been eliminated from startup. All parameters are now
  17.    obtained from the data file EW.SET.
  18.  
  19. 3. One or 2 keys wouldn't work with version 2.1. This has been corrected.
  20.  
  21. 4. NOTE: The HOTKEY(s) are now different! ALT-R will start the session with
  22.    the REMOTE HOST and ALT-L will return you to LOCAL DOS. You can change
  23.    these keys to whatever you like but these are the new defaults.
